The pop star moved up the release of her new music video "Swish Swish" to beat the release of Swift’s new song, which arrives Thursday night.

The video for “Swish Swish” arrived early Thursday morning, beating Swift by several hours. The song was released in May.

In the basketball-themed video, Perry teamed up with Nicki Minaj, who also raps on the track, NFL star Rob Gronkowski, former Saturday Night Live star Molly Shannon and the so-called “Backpack Kid,” who danced to the song when she performed it on SNL in May.

"Swish Swish" is believed to be a diss track squarely aimed at the “Blank Space” singer.

Some believe the music video is filled with references to their ongoing feud, like the names of the teams: The Sheeps and the Tigers.

Minaj is wearing a costume that some say is reminiscent of the space-age suits worn in Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video.

Buzz has been building since Swift cleared all her social media accounts earlier this week before replacing them with a slithering snake, followed by the cover art for her upcoming album, Reputation. She also announced that the new single would be released Thursday night.

Perry played coy when asked about it on The Tonight Show in May.

“I think it's a great anthem for people to use when anyone's trying to hold you down or bully you,” she told Jimmy Fallon.

It has been nearly three years since Swift released an album. Perry is gearing up to host the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.
