Dancing Police Officer Showcases His Smooth Moves at Carnival: 'It's in My Blood'

He also appeared on "Britain's Got Talent" earlier this year.

An English police officer may be able to quit his day job after his dance moves made him an internet sensation.

Daniel Graham, who has been a Metropolitan police officer for six years, was far from shy as he showcased his talent at the Notting Hill Carnival, an event celebrating Britain’s West Indian community, over the weekend.

As the DJ hyped him up, Graham danced to a Nicki Minaj song as hundreds looked on and screamed.

“I’ve always loved to dance; it’s in my blood,” Graham told InsideEdition.com. ”I was at one of the stands and I started nodding my head to the music and people started to encourage me to do more. The DJ spotted me and encouraged me to carry on, so I did.”

But it's not Graham’s first impressive display of rhythm, as the police officer had a viral video earlier this year as he strut his stuff in the police yard.

He also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year, making it to the semi-finals before he was eliminated.

Although he has not yet achieved super stardom, he still shares his dancing videos on his Instagram page.

“It's good to see a policeman showing us the social hidden side of them,” Femi Olabode, who shot the video of Graham at the carnival, told InsideEdition.com.

In the video posted to Twitter, the DJ can be heard saying, "We've got a police man with some moves!"

Graham said the engagement side of policing is important to him. He believes in forming good relationships with the community.

In addition, he’s glad the video of him dancing, which has been retweeted more than 700 times, has had a positive impact.

“I think the reception is really positive. People really like to see the human side of police.”
