"I wish you were here, baby girl," Keith Urban said as he accepted the award for Collaborative Video of the Year.

Keith Urban made America swoon at Wednesday’s CMT Awards in Nashville.

He gave a special shootout to wife, Nicole Kidman, during his acceptance speech when winning the award for Collaborative Video of the Year for "Coming Home.”

"My wife, Nicole Mary, who's at home tonight. She's working in New York, actually. I wish you were here, baby girl, I miss you,” Urban said.

He later took to Twitter to thank fans for voting for him and Julia Michaels for the award.

But the night really belonged to the ladies as the women of country music dazzled on the red carpet and on stage.

Country music legend Tanya Tucker brought down the house belting out her iconic song "Delta Dawn" alongside other top female artists.

Carrie Underwood looked incredible in a colorful mini dress and gold boots just five months after giving birth to her second son. She took home two big awards, continuing her run as the CMT Awards' most decorated artist.
