Rand Paul Could Be Your President And Your Eye Doctor
Even as a Senator, Dr. Rand Paul still performs eye surgery, for free.
Rand Paul is running for president.
He made the announcement in Louisville, Kentucky, not far from his hometown of Bowling Green, where many people know him not as a politician, but as their doctor.

Yep, Senator Rand Paul is also Dr. Rand Paul. What kind of doctor? An eye doctor.
INSIDE EDITION spoke with two of Senator Paul's patients, Dave Faulkenberg and Brandon Leonard. Paul performed lasik surgery on Leonard.
"He calmed my nerves. It was a nervous moment, but I couldn't be happier. I still have 20/20 vision," said Leonard.

Dr. John Downing shared a practice with Rand Paul for five years. Downing said, "He's very serious about keeping his skills up as an eye surgeon. So every chance he gets he does some free surgery."
That's right, even after Paul was elected to the Senate in 2011, he continued to peform eye surgery. Cataracts are his specialty. He does it for free.
Now, Senator Paul, M.D. wants to be President Paul.
