Long before the headline-making rumor, Bruce was a student at Newtown, Connecticut high school. He was a talented jock and popular with the girls.

Alexander asked Michelle, “Where you smitten with him? Did you have a crush on him?”

She replied, “Good looking, cute, yeah, who wouldn't?”

Alexander asked, “Was he a good kisser?”

“Oh my. I guess, yeah,” she replied.

The year was 1967. Bruce Jenner was a high school jock, clean cut, and the big man on campus.  Michelle was a pretty brunette who managed the boy's track team.

She was over the moon when Bruce asked her to the prom.

Alexander asked, “Were all the other girls jealous?”

“I’m sure there were several. He was a good dancer. We definitely did dance close and fast,” she said.

Reportedly, Bruce Jenner will tell Diane Sawyer that ever since he was five years old he felt like a woman.

So, Alexander had to ask, “You never noticed anything in high school?”

She shook her head and said, “No, no. We did kiss. He seemed to enjoy it. We both did.”

Their high school romance lasted several months and they parted on friendly terms. Michelle would eventually marry and remain in Newtown. Her husband used to be a Town Selectman.

Bruce Jenner left Newtown to attend Graceland College in Iowa on a football scholarship. It was there he met Chrystie Crownover, a minister's daughter who became his college sweetheart and later his first wife. She was by Bruce's side when he went for Olympic gold.

Chrystie jumped for joy when he won the gold medal for the decathlon at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, making him the greatest athlete in the world.

He ran to Chyrstie and kissed for the entire world to see. They quickly became America’s sweethearts making the cover of People magazine. He became the face of Wheaties.

As his fame grew, his marriage suffered and in 1981 he left Chrystie Crownover while she was pregnant to be with Linda Thompson, who was the former girlfriend of Elvis Presley. That marriage ended after five years.

In 1991, Bruce married Kris Kardashian after dating her for just a few months. They would later become the first family of reality TV.

As for Bruce Jenner’s high school prom date, she says the she could never have imagined the startling news that he is transitioning into a woman.

Michelle Williams-Rosenthal told Alexander, “I would never have thought that in a million years knowing him from high school.”

Alexander asked, “If you can say anything to Bruce Jenner, what would you say?”

“You should not worry about what people think and just do what his heart tells him is right for him. Go for it! I hope it makes him happy,” she said.
