Vin Diesel Confirms 'Fast and Furious 8' Is Coming!

While Furious 7 speeds it's way to box office glory, the movie's star has confirmed that the eighth installment is on it's way.
Following the massive success of Furious 7, which raked over one billion dollars and established itself as the most successful installment to the Fast and Furious series, actor Vin Diesel took the stage at CinemaCon to confirm that Furious 8 is happening.
At the studio panel, Diesel said, “We're going to make the best movie you've ever seen.”

The studio also confirmed the news in a Facebook post announcing the film's release date, April 14, 2017.
Before Furious 7 opened, Diesel told Variety that “Universal is going to have the biggest movie in history with this movie. It will probably win Best Picture at the Oscars, unless the Oscars don’t want to be relevant ever.”

Furious 7, which was Paul Walker’s final film, has become the seventh highest-grossing film of all time behind Frozen, Iron Man 3, Titanic, and Avatar.
