The 'Fight of the Century' is Over, But Controversy Remains
Floyd Mayweather may have defeated Manny Pacquiao, but the controversy around the fight remains.
Call it celebrity fight club!
So many stars came to Vegas for ‘The Fight of the Century.” There was celebrity gridlock at the airport as private jets were lined up wing to wing and Air Traffic Control ordered planes to stop landing.
But no one drew more eyes than Beyoncé. She wore a fire engine red jumpsuit with a plunging neckline that left very little to the imagination.
Nicki Minaj also turned heads in a skintight turquoise dress by Herve Leger.
Meantime, Jamie Foxx is getting mixed reviews for his rendition of the national anthem. Jake Gyllenhaal was even caught on camera laughing.
"The real fight was between Jamie Foxx and the national anthem," said one tweet.
"Jamie Foxx’s national anthem had more twists and turns than the fight," said another.
But much more disapproval rained down on cocky Floyd Mayweather, who preened for the crowd after his victory.
"Sometimes Darth Vader wins," said The New York Times.
Two female reporters, ESPN’s Michelle Beadle and CNN's Rachel Nichols say they were refused credentials because they have aggressively reported on Mayweather’s infamous history of domestic abuse. Rachel Nichols took on Mayweather in an interview last year.

At the last minute, she was finally granted credentials to the fight, but she decided not to go.
She tweeted about her decision:
Have had a bunch of folks asking questions about the Mayweather issue. Here's what happened: After asking (cont) http://t.co/aD1ekEVTdSMay 2, 2015
Mayweather's total take could reach $180 million-- the biggest payday in sports history.
It seemed that everything was for sale -- even the band on Mayweather’s shorts promoting Hublot watches.
ESPN reports that Burger King paid in excess of $1 million for the privilege of its company mascot walking out with Mayweather.
What were the hot ring girls paid? A measly $500.
