Megan O’Brien was a size zero. So why in the world would she want liposuction?
She told INSIDE EDITION, "I was very happy with my body, except I was very upset with my middle area. It was like an inner tube around my waste."
Under her cute size zero clothes, Megan says she was hiding a bit of a belly.
She said, "They'd congratulate me, that's fine but I wasn't pregnant. Then it would be awkward."

She says she tried everything from a strict diet to a personal trainer. But the tummy didn't go away.
Believe it or not, her plastic surgeon, Dr. Marc Mani, says Megan was the perfect candidate for liposuction.
Dr. Mani said, “Liposuction isn't about weight loss mechanism. Liposuction is best for people who are already at their ideal weight and they just need a little sculpting."
Once Megan decided to go under the knife, she didn't hide anything; she actually announced it in a movie trailer-style video.
Thirty-eight-year-old Megan, who blogs about cosmetics and beauty wrote an article for Harper's Bazaar magazine: “I’m A Size Zero and I Got Liposuction.”
The response to Megan’s surgery, which cost $35,000, has been mixed.
One person said, “You could have spent less money on therapy to discover why you feel the need to have a ‘perfect’ body."
Many more comments support her
“Your candor is refreshing,” said one.
Another said, “I applaud your decision to do what makes you happy!”
