President Perry? Katy Inspired to Run for Office After Meeting George W. Bush and Bill Clinton
While at a recent gala, Katy Perry took a photo with former presidents Clinton and Bush and possibly announced her intention to run for office one day.
After meeting Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, Katy Perry took to Instagram to hint that she may too run for office one day.
In a photo with the two former presidents at So the World May Hear Awards Gala in Minnesota on Sunday, she wrote: “42, 43, 46?”
The numbers refer to Clinton being the 42nd president and Bush being the 43rd - suggesting she may run for office after the 2016 election.
While she didn't state her party allegiance, the “Firework” singer has previously expressed that she is a Hillary Clinton supporter and last year said she would write her campaign theme song.
