Martin Short Heartbroken After Death of Wife

Actor Martin Short is heartbroken over the death of his beloved wife of 30 years, Nancy Dolman. INSIDE EDITION reports.
Martin Short's wife Nancy Dolman passed away on August 21st after a long battle with cancer. She was 58 years old.
A caregiver made a frantic call to 911:
Caller: "She's not breathing, she's going to die. Send an ambulance!"
911 Operator: "Is she awake right now?"
Caller: "Barely!"
A photographer took a picture of Short, looking absolutely heartbroken, outside his home just after Dolman died.
The couple had an incredibly long and happy marriage, especially by Hollywood standards. They fell in love when Short was a rising comedy star, and were married for 30 years. Dolman was an actress on the sitcom Soap.
Short is famous for creating unforgettable characters like Ed Grimley and later Jiminy Glick.
He had his own talk show, The Martin Short Show, and delighted audiences as the flamboyant foreign caterer in Father of the Bride.
Now Short is left to care for their three children. Friends say Dolman fought her battle with cancer with quiet dignity.
Short is nominated for an Emmy for his dramatic role on TV's Damages, but he is too heartbroken to attend the ceremony as he grieves for his beloved wife.
