Former Cheerleader Who Once Weighed Over 300 Pounds Reveals Incredible Transformation

A former UCLA cheerleader who once weighed more than 300 pounds has revealed her incredible weight loss - and how she can finally fit in her uniform again.

Rachel Paul became addicted to food as a teenager after she says her first love cheated on her. For years, she gorged on junk food.

“Leaving work, I would hit a drive-thru in the valley, then drive home and hit another one at home and then get home and order in,” she told INSIDE EDITION.

She said that when the pizza delivery guy arrived at her house, she would pretend she was partying with friends.

“I'd be like, 'Hey guys, pizzas here' because there was so much," she said. "There'd be pizza and breadsticks and chicken wings, the two-liter.”

She worked as a cheerleading and dance coach, but her self-confidence was at an all-time low.

“I teach dance in front of a mirror and I would look up in the mirror to see the kids behind me, instead of at my own reflection," she said.

She finally admitted her addiction - and contacted ABC's Extreme Weight Loss show in a bid to fit back into her cheerleader uniform.

She was put through a grueling regimen that almost broke her, particularly when she found out that her former boyfriend had passed away.

“I can't be mad at him now because how tragic for him to have lost his life,” she said.

After nine months, she dropped an astonishing 145 pounds - and fit back into her old uniform.

Today, she teaches At Notre Dame High School in Los Angeles, where she's an inspiration to her students.

But she's not done yet.

"My 37th birthday is coming up and I thought, 'I'm gonna do a bikini photo shoot.' That's going to be my goal," she said.
