'Deez Nuts' for President? 15-Year-Old Farm Boy Surges In Poll, Says Race Won't Mess With 10th Grade
Brady Olsen talks to INSIDE EDITION about entering the presidential race, and his rising popularity.
As Donald Trump continues to surge in the polls, he's getting some tough competition - from a 15-year-old boy.
Brady Olsen, known as “Deez Nuts," won nine percent of the vote in a recent North Carolina poll.
He's from Wallingford, Iowa, and registered as an "independent." And speaking to INSIDE EDITION, he assured his fans that the presidential race wouldn't interrupt his school work - thanks to evenings and weekends.
And even though he's 20 years too young to be president - the minimum age is 35 - he's not letting that put him off.
Asked if he was surprised it’s gone this far, he added: “When I filed it I was just like, ‘This will sound funny.’”
The late-night comics are having a field day with this presidential contender.
Jimmy Kimmel said on his show: “If there’s one thing this country needs, it’s a President Nuts.”
