12 Baby Ducks Rescued From Sewer Grate

They will be held until they are older.
Police in Portland rescued 12 ducks from a sewer grate.
The ducks were reportedly with their mom when she stepped off the curb and they all fell in on Thursday.
The babies were transported to Avian Haven bird rehabilitation center by the Animal Control Officer.
They’ll stay in an enclosure there until August when they are old enough to be let loose, police said.
“It was a very quacky morning,” the Portland Maine Police Department wrote on Facebook.
