Huge Curtain Collapses on Carly Fiorina as She Speaks During Texas Rally
A curtain fell on Carly Fiorina as the Republican candidate was a campaign rally in Texas.
A curtain collapsed on Carly Fiorina as she spoke in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday.
Two women onstage tried to protect the Republican presidential hopeful as the heavy curtain fell around them. When the dust settled, Fiorina made light of it, saying: “Hey, we just get it done, huh?”
Then someone in the crowd yelled out Donald Trump's name after the curtain came crashing down.
“Trump, Hillary, it could've been lots of people,” she said.
Fiorina did not suffer any injuries in the incident.
The curtain accident comes as a just-released poll says Trump is still in the lead but the race is tightening.
According to a NBC News/Wall St. Journal Poll, he's at 21 percent of Republican primary voters and Dr. Ben Carson follows right behind at 20 percent. Fiorina and Florida senator Marco Rubio are tied at 11 percent.
