Randy Quaid is Released From Jail, Says He Wants to Be a Fireman
Actor Randy Quaid, and his wife Evi, have been released from a Vermont jail after a judge dismissed fugitive-from-justice charges.
They're baaaaack. And they're still really wacky.
Actor Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, were released from a Vermont prison after a judge dismissed fugitive-from-justice charges against the pair.
Asked by INSIDE EDITION what he plans to do now, the actor replied, "I want to be a volunteer fireman."
"Anyone know where they're shooting a prison movie around here?" Randy joked outside a St. Albans courthouse on Thursday.
The Quaids were arrested last Friday after trying to cross into the United States from Canada, where they have been living for the past five years.
They fled California after they were accused of vandalizing a home they had previously owned, and of illegally residing on the property's guest house, claims they have denied.
The couple generated headlines for making strange declarations, including claiming there were contracts out on their lives by a group they called Hollywood “Star Whackers."
