Drunk Woman Sneaks into Zoo and is Bitten by a Tiger: Cops

Jacqueline Eide allegedly sneaked into an Omaha, Nebraska zoo early Sunday and was badly bitten, likely by a Malayan tiger named Mai.
A Nebraska woman drunkenly sneaked into a zoo on Halloween and was bitten by a tiger after trying to pet it, police say.
Jacqueline Eide and a friend allegedly managed to get inside Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium around 7 a.m. before cops say she made her way to the tiger exhibit.

When she reached in to pet a tiger, it reportedly bit her left hand so badly that she may now lose parts of her fingers, according to KETV.
She was then transported to the hospital by a friend, according to an Omaha Police Department press release.

The hospital alerted police and said Eide was acting aggressively toward staff. "Eide was aggressive toward staff and showed signs of intoxication of alcohol and/or drugs," according to the police press release.
Eide was cited for Criminal Trespass but remained at the hospital for treatment.
Zoo officials believe the tiger that bit her is an 18-year-old female Malayan tiger named Mai. The tiger has only three legs.
