A new hashtag has been all the rage on social media since Empire showed a love scene between Gabourey Sidibe and actor Mo McRae.
The hashtag, #MyFatSexStory is going viral as plus size women are proudly sharing their intimate stories after the show got backlash for the scene.

The 32-year-old actress is hitting back at haters for calling her "too large" for a racy rooftop love scene on the show.
She even praised the new hashtag on Twitter.
In a blog post on Entertainment Weekly's website, the Oscar nominee writes: "Yes. I, a plus sized, dark-skinned woman, had a love scene on primetime television. I had the most fun ever filming that scene even though I was nervous. But I felt sexy and beautiful and I felt like I was doing a good job.
“I’m very proud of the work we all did to make that scene a great opening for the episode. I keep hearing that people are ‘hating’ on it. I’m not sure how anyone could hate on love but that’s okay. You may have your memes. Honestly, I’m at work too busy to check Twitter anyway. #Booked.”
Social media immediately exploded with mean-spirited comments.
“Yuck,” wrote one.
“Now they've gone too far,” went another.
Sidibe, who gained notoriety in the film, Precious, also spoke to Buzzfeed about the scene and said: "It was like they were more comfortable with the rape scene in Precious than the love scene in Empire."
She continued: “People were like, ‘What?!? Fat people have sex? What? Does not compute.’ ‘Yes, idiot.'"
On The Talk, Sharon Osbourne said: “The fat shaming must stop! The fat shaming must stop! She is the most beautiful young girl, a talented actress. What does it matter if she is 200, 300 or 100 pounds? Who cares?”
