Nitica Deonte Lee was charged with manslaughter for illegally injecting woman's buttocks with silicone substance that killed her, prosecutors said.

Missouri prosecutors charged a woman with manslaughter after she allegedly killed another woman by pumping a silicone substance into her buttocks during an illegal butt enhancement procedure.

Nitica Deonte Lee, 44, of Dallas, gave the illegal shots to St. Louis resident Daysa Phillips and recklessly caused her death, according to charging documents filed Tuesday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Phillips, 22, was injected at a Drury Inn motel on July 26, authorities said.

The exotic dancer died four days later and the cause of death was silicone pulmonary embolism, authorities said. Some of the silicone entered her bloodstream and lodged in her lungs.

She was taken to the hospital because she had trouble breathing, prosecutors said.

Lee is being held in lieu of $200,000 cash-only bail.
