Michele says her ex-boyfriend, Chris Campbell, flew into a violent rage when she told him their relationship was over after dating for eight months.
“He pushed me up against the wall. We were nose to nose. He started screaming at me,” she said.
Michele recorded the chilling encounter. In the audio she can be heard telling him that she is going to call the cops.
"If you call the police, then I am gonna f*** you up,” he said in the recording.
Campbell left. But in February, she ran into him at a local restaurant near her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She says she agreed to talk things out in her minivan.
“I got in the passenger side. As soon I closed the door. He locked it and went absolutely ballistic. He started punching me everywhere,” she said.
She said she tried to shield herself.
“I felt him on top on me felt teeth on my nose,” she said. “I felt his teeth come down.”
Michele passed out, then came to.
“I asked him ‘What happened?’ He said ‘I bit your nose off,’” she recalled. “When I looked down I saw blood puddles I touched and there was nothing there.”
A witness who mistakenly thought Michelle had been shot called 911.
“It is barbaric,” Michele said. “Barbaric to say the least.”

When Michele woke up in a hospital, the shock of seeing her bitten off nose was overwhelming.
She recalled: “I was completely disfigured. I did not have a nose. It was gut-wrenching. I just lost it. I cried and I cried and I cried. Who is going to want a woman with no nose?”
Dr. Andrew Ordon of TV's The Doctors learned of her story and reconstructed Michele’s nose. He grafted skin from her forehead and cartilage from her ear.
Chris Campbell was charged with attempted murder. He's pled not guilty and is awaiting trial.
