Pope Francis is the Internet's New Favorite Rapper

Who would have thought The Pope could bust a few bars on the mic? Apparently people on social media did and are having a blast with it.
Today’s hottest emcees like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Kanye, Jay Z all have new competition on their hands – Pope Francis.

During a visit to St. Saviour Parish in Bangui, Uganda over the weekend, The Pope was photographed holding a microphone and his left arm stretched out as if he was about to freestyle.
Clearly, the internet found out about it and had a field day crafting memes and tweets as if Pope Francis was a rapper due to the positioning of his body in the photo.
Even high profile celebrities got in on the action and commented on the trending topic #PopeBars.

Pope Francis does have some musical roots, as last month, he released a progressive rock album called Wake Up!
On the Vatican-approved album, his speeches and hymns were laid over rock music created by Believe Digital.
