Woman Nearly Beheaded By ISIS Sympathizer: 'He Ran at Me and Started Slicing My Neck'

Traci Johnson gave her advice to the survivors of the San Bernardino shooting as she spoke to INSIDE EDITION.

Traci Johnson watched the San Bernardino massacre play out and it brought back terrifying memories for the 44-year-old.

She lived through her own workplace nightmare when an ISIS sympathizer actually tried to cut off her head.

She told INSIDE EDITION: “He got me right here in the neck the face and on my right index finger.”

According to police, Alton Nolen, a radicalized Muslim convert, had argued with Traci at their job at a food processing plant in Oklahoma. Nolen stormed out of the building but came back a few hours later and was armed. His first victim was Colleen Huffard, who he decapitated. Then he went after Traci.

“I am going through what these people are going through and I’m going through this for the rest of my life,” she said. “I heard screams like bloody murder screams is what I heard. And I didn’t know what the heck was going on I thought it was kind of a joke at first and then to come and find out it wasn’t a joke. It was serious.”

She thought she was going to die and recounted the horror, saying: “He's right there at the other end of the hall. And just run right at me and just started slicing my neck.”

Traci's boss heard her cries for help; he was a Deputy Sherriff and had his gun. He shot Traci's attacker incapacitating him. The ISIS sympathizer survived and now, a year later, he is awaiting trial. His now deleted Facebook page was rife with ISIS propaganda, including gruesome videos of beheadings.

This ISIS stuff. I am just sick of it. I hate to be like that because I am a good Christian person but the hatred. I am sick of it, it just angers me and makes me mad,” she admitted.

Traci gave advice to those in San Bernardino affected by their tragedy, saying: “It’s a long road. It’s going to get better in time. Just take your time in grieving. Do not hurry. I have prayers for all of you guys and I love each one of you.”
