Saturday Night Live cast member Taran Killam revealed he spent a week with Donald Trump to get his mannerisms and personality down pat to play him on the late night show.

He spoke to INSIDE EDITION at the New York premiere of Tina Fey’s new movie, Sisters, and said: “Luckily, they gave me a week intensive with him so we can hang out and capture his movements, his essence.”
Trump appeared on Saturday Night Live last month and gained the show its highest ratings in years.

Killam performed his impression of Trump on the episode and told INSIDE EDITION after the November 5 taping that “He said he loved when I did it. It’s very nice, very flattering.”
