INSIDE EDITION's Deborah Norville took a trip to San Diego, where she met an Emperor Penguin chick at SeaWorld San Diego and visited Cliff and Brooks at KSON-FM.
During a trip to San Diego, INSIDE EDITION's Deborah Norville got a rare chance to meet an Emperor Penguin chick. Born just four weeks ago, the chick is the first in eight years to hatch at SeaWorld San Diego.
Norville was there for the chick's daily weigh in. The chick was placed in a baby bucket to hold her on the scale, and weighed in at a whopping 2,000 grams...about four and a half pounds!
Then, Norville took a trip to the penguin habitat to meet the chick's relatives.
And to make her visit to San Diego complete, Norville sat down with morning show hosts Cliff and Brooks at radio station KSON-FM.
She got quite a laugh when the hosts put lyrics to the catchy INSIDE EDITION theme song:
"She's Deborah Norville. It is impossible to sing to this music. My favorite part of this song is this guitar lick. This is how we chose to welcome you to the show. We would not blame you if you were to get up and go. Welcome Deborah Norville."
