Eric Trump: My Father Has Been Grooming Us To Run His Company Since Birth
During the debate, Donald Trump said his kids would take over his company. They tell INSIDE EDITION that they are ready.
Donald Trump said during Thursday's GOP debate that if he's elected president, he'd put his kids in charge of his business - and they're more than happy to oblige.
"If I become president, I couldn't care less about my company. It's peanuts," the billionaire told the audience. "Run the company, kids! Have a good time."
Backstage, his son Eric told INSIDE EDITION he and his siblings would be happy to take over.
"My father has been grooming us since the day we were born to run the company," Eric said. "The company is something that he loves. He spent his entire life building and made it something that he really, really cares about."
He added: "If asked to, we would take it over in a heartbeat."
