Woman Reunited Online With Preschool Sweetheart Goes Shopping For Wedding Dress

Amy Giberson invited INSIDE EDITION along as she tried on dresses for her big day. Which do you prefer?

A couple who met through an online dating service, only to discover they had been preschool sweethearts, are now headed down the aisle.

Amy Giberson and Justin Pounders started dating in 2014 and were stunned to discover they had attended the same preschool in St. Petersburg, Florida.

After their story was shared across the country, Justin popped the question live on The View, with help from kids who now attend the preschool.

Now, it’s time to shop for the dress.

Amy invited INSIDE EDITION – and 13 of her closest friends and family – to be there as she tried on wedding dresses.

“We’ve waited a long time for this!” Amy said as she headed inside the iconic bridal boutique, Kleinfeld.

She was helped into a variety of dresses by bridal consultant Gabriel Kauper.

After many “ooh”s and “aah”s, the group managed to narrow down their choices to just two dresses.

The couple was reunited through Match.com in November 2014. A year later, they realized they had known each other at Sunshine Preschool.

Last year, IE took the couple back to their old classroom and they were reunited with their preschool teacher, Diane Twar.

“They spent a lot of time together,” she said. “They were inseparable.”

The couple hopes to marry later this year.
