Cruz responded by posting a clip from the Austin Powers movies The Spy Who Shagged Me and Goldmember, comparing Trump to the character “Fat Bastard."
Trump beat Cruz to win the Nevada caucus on Tuesday.
The real estate mogul received 46 percent of the vote ahead of Marco Rubio, who received 24 percent. Cruz came in third place with 21 percent.
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton got another chance to answer a question about lying - a question that many people thought she flubbed last week.
The incident started when CBS' Scott Pelley asked if she ever lied to the American people and she responded: “I don't believe I ever have. I don't believe I ever will. I'm going to do the best that I can to level with the American people."
Her answer was mocked by Stephen Colbert on The Late Show: "How can you be this bad at it? Just say no. You're running for president of the United States. Even Richard Nixon knew to say, 'I am not a crook.' He didn't say, 'It has always been my intention as far as I believe, I will do the best I can not to be a crook.'
