Cameras caught a sweet moment between a dog and a surgical assistant after an operation.

Meesha needed to be calmed as she recovered from anesthesia after being spayed. The pup was scared and disoriented because her body didn’t feel right.
So Dennis Moses, a surgical assistant at BARCS Animal Shelter in Baltimore, Maryland, comforted the pooch in his arms.
The footage, which was posted on BARCS Animal Shelter’s Facebook page, was taken by a volunteer at the facility.

Meesha came to the facility with her brother, Charlie, when they were six weeks old. Her previous owners could not take care of her and surrendered the siblings to BARCS.
But according to BARCS’ Director of Communication Baily Deacon, Meesha was adopted by a family.
“They signed her adoption papers right away, because of how sweet and gentle Meesha was with their 11-month-old daughter,” Deacon said.
