Two Adorable Baby Pandas Unveiled at Toronto Zoo, Get Cuddled by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

Popular Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau may have become even more likable after tweeting a photo of himself Monday holding two baby panda bears at the Toronto Zoo.

The cubs were born on Oct. 13, to a female panda on loan from China for 10 years.

Monday marked their public debut.

The country's ecology-minded leader said the zoo was "an example of Canada's strong commitment to science, conservation, and cutting-edge ecological and biodiversity sustainability."

The bears' names are Jia Panpan and Jia Yueye, meaning Canadian Hope and Canadian Joy.

Toronto Mayor John Tory said the city has "fallen in love" with the giant panda cubs.

Their exhibit will open to the public later this month.
