Kanye West canceled his scheduled Thanksgiving weekend performance on the Today show following his interview with Matt Lauer earlier this week. INSIDE EDITION has the latest.
Kanye West cancels his upcoming concert on the Today show after that contentious sit-down with Matt Lauer.
"I'm not performing on the Today how for obvious reasons," Kanye tweeted.
The singer is still upset that video of the notorious incident with Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards was played during his interview.
"Yo, how am I supposed to talk if you're going to run this thing? Please don't ever let that happen again. It's like ridiculous," West said during his appearance.
"They set me up," he tweeted.
He also blasted the Today show for saying that his concert was on even after the TV feud made headlines.
"We look forward to Kanye's return to the Today show Friday, November 26th for a special concert," Lauer said.
West took to his Twitter to say, "I blatantly said I'm not performing to everyone around me, and the next day they still announced a performance."
