Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund and his brother Oakley went up against each other for a game of ball hockey. One donned a Montreal Canadiens uniform - the other, a Toronto Maple Leafs.
Each uniform, created using re-purposed teddy bears, feature tiny arms that carry hockey sticks. Shot at an angle, the two dogs appear to run across the pavement on two feet.
Crusoe, representing his hometown in the Canadiens uniform, was in the net, as Oakley, loyal to his Toronto hometown, ran toward him, pushing the ball with his stick.
He went for it, but ... no goal! Crusoe valiantly defended his net, blocking Oakley's attempts at scoring against his team.
But when Oakley rushed towards the attacking zone a second time, Crusoe missed the ball and it slid smoothly into the net.
The Maple Leafs took it home, 1-0.
Ryan Beauchesne, creator and ghostwriter for Crusoe's various social media sites, said he started the videos as a continuation of a blog, which is written from Crusoe's perspective.
"Crusoe is super cooperative and easy going, a natural in front of the camera, and just has a quirky/funny personality that translates well to video!"
