Acid Attack Victim Models for Reveal Magazine

Look at this beautiful model, the smiling face, the confident poses. Who could ever dream she once suffered from acid burns on her face?

Remember Katie Piper? The aspiring model's face had been mutilated by an acid attack instigated by her ex-boyfriend...the 2008 assault was caught on tape on a London street.

"The pain was phenomenal, it was so intense," Piper said.

Piper's features had literally melted away. Since the attack, her life has been an endless cycle of operations, skin grafts and physical therapy.

But when INSIDE EDITION's Diane McInerney spoke with Piper, she had great hopes for the future. Hopes that have now come true on the pages of Reveal magazine!

"I'm just amazed at your bravery and confidence," McInerney said.

"No matter what happens in life, you should never give up because the human body is really strong and the human spirit is an amazing thing. Anybody can get through anything with determination," she said.
