Will Howard Stern Replace Simon Cowell on American Idol?

Will shock jock Howard Stern replace Simon Cowell as the next American Idol judge? INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
Is shock jock Howard Stern going to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol? Stern is said to be the "top choice" to take over Simon's role, according to the New York Post.
"They know he would be great TV and would clash with the other judges such as Ellen DeGeneres. Idol bosses think he'd be even nastier than Simon," reports the New York Post.
Stern, whose $100-million-a-year contract with Sirius XM radio is up next January, seemed to hint that he recently turned down a big TV deal.
Stern said on his radio show, "I was approached by a major TV network to take over a TV show and leave here and do that next year, and I did turn it down."
And former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson is speaking her mind about Taylor Swift's off-key performance at the Grammys.
Kelly says every artist has a "shaky" performance once in awhile. But Kelly also said she was offended after the head of Taylor's record label was quoted as saying about Taylor's Grammy performance, "This is not American Idol. This is about a true artist and writer and communicator."
Kelly blogged this response.
"Instead of lashing out at other artists (that in your 'humble' opinion lack true artistry), you should simply take a breath and realize that sometimes things won't go according to plan or work out and that's okay."
