“She just went down. She went down a long way, right? She went down right in front of him and he just kept talking and talking,” Trump said at a rally in Carmel, Indiana Monday. “That was a weird deal. Cruz didn't do anything. Even I would have helped her.”

Fiorina fell at a rally in Lafayette, Indiana Sunday but was not injured. She was introducing Cruz at the time.

“Let me welcome your next first family. Heidi Cruz, your next first lady, Caroline and Catherine and the next president of the United States, Ted Cruz,” she said -- then took the unexpected tumble.

Cruz and Fiorina have been campaigning vigorously in the Hoosier State as voters take to the polls on Tuesday for the Indiana primary.

According to CNN estimates, Trump already has 1,002 of the 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the Republican nomination. The Indiana primary is a make-or-break scenario for Cruz. If he fails to win the state, his campaign is essentially over.

"If we win Indiana, it's over. It's over. It's finished. They're gone," Trump said at Monday’s rally in Carmel, Indiana.
