Florence + The Machine Serenades Teen in Hospice Care in Heartwarming Video

The London-based hitmakers were in Austin to perform when they paid a visit to a 15-year-old fan whose health made her miss their concert.
London-based hitmakers Florence + The Machine made a very special stop while in Texas as part of their world tour.
On Friday, after performing in Austin the night before, Florence Welch and guitarist Rob Ackroyd paid a visit to Hospice Austin's Christopher House to sing for a fan.
The 15-year-old girl had been planning to attend the show at the Austin 360 amphitheater, but couldn't make it because of her illness.
So, Florence + The Machine came to her.
"Today we were privileged to witness the clear joy of a room full of teenagers singing with Florence Welch and guitarist Rob Ackroyd from Florence and The Machine who came to Hospice Austin's Christopher House to give a private concert to a teen who missed her concert last night due to her illness," the center wrote on its YouTube video of the touching visit.

"The room was full; full of joy and warmth and love and life and singing," read the message. "Thank you, Florence!"
In just over a day, the video had been viewed over 100,000 times.
And it wasn't just a serenade: The teen got to sing along to Florence + The Machine hit "Shake It Out."
