Would You Be Able to Spot the Drowning Victim in This Crowded Pool?
This could have been a terrible tragedy if not for this attentive lifeguard.
A heroic, eagle-eyed lifeguard came to the rescue of a 3-year-old swimmer that was drowning — and no one around the child even noticed what was happening.
Earlier this month at Whirlin' Waters Adventure Park, a wave pool in North Charleston, South Carolina, a little girl was struggling and a lifeguard sprung to action.
In a video of the rescue, people were swimming next to the girl, but don't appear to notice what's happening to her.
The video, posted by Lifeguard Rescue on YouTube, has clocked in more than a million views.
The unidentified lifeguard wrote on YouTube: "Had to walk this 3 year old girl around until I could find her family. They had no idea she was missing. I have been doing this for 18 years and I am still amazed by the lack of supervision some kids get around the water.”
