Puppy Love: See This Girl's Emotional Reaction to Getting a Dog for Her Birthday

Little Colette couldn't hide her excitement as she received the pup for her birthday.

One 9-year-old girl from Missouri got the surprise of her life during her birthday celebrations when she was given a puppy as a present.

Colette Francisco was told by her mom, Michelle, to close her eyes as the little girl was presented with a Shiba Inu puppy.

Little Colette freaked out, saying: "Tell me this is not a dream!"

She was overcome with emotion and began crying as she said out loud: "I got a dog! Oh my God! Oh my gosh, I’m so happy. It’s the best birthday present in the world."

Colette named the Japanese-bred puppy Wasabi.
