This love-struck dad needed some help proposing to his girlfriend, and there was no better assistant than his toddler son.

Joshua Womble and his girlfriend Sade Robinson have been together for three years and are the proud parents of 2-year-old Christian.
The couple, who live in Warren, Michigan, celebrated Christian’s second birthday Sunday and as the child was opening gifts, there was a special box that wasn’t just for him.
As Christian tore through the layers and layers of tissue paper inside the box, there was a tiny black case that he knew to hand to daddy.
Womble, who was already on one knee, took the box from the boy and proposed to his surprised girlfriend.

Womble’s sister shared the video on Twitter where it caught the attention of the world.
She told Buzzfeed she was “completely surprised” and “had no idea” it was going to happen.
