Bald Eagle Gets Stuck in the Grille of A Moving Car
A bald eagle got stuck in the grille of a moving car in Florida.
A bald eagle was taken for quite the ride when he got lodged in the grille of a car in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.
Florida officials rescued the national bird, which was named Matthew in honor of the storm, after a driver noticed an odd shape in an oncoming car’s grille.

According to CNN, the driver initially thought it was a prop but once he noticed its head moving he chased down the car and notified the other driver, who called police.
Matthew wasn’t reported to have any serious injuries.

After a check-up by a local organization, B.E.A.K.S. Wildlife Sanctuary, Matthew was good to fly high again.
