Howard Stern Says He Won't Replay Old Clips of 'Friend' Donald Trump: 'It Would Be a Betrayal'
The shock jock did dismiss Trump's 'locker room talk' comments.
Radio personality Howard Stern has spoken out about the raunchy tapes of previous Donald Trump appearances on his show.
The shock jock, who was on vacation when the Trump hot mic video of him speaking to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush surfaced, spoke out Monday on his SiriusXM show.
“I feel Donald Trump did the show in an effort to be entertaining and have fun with us and I feel like it would be a betrayal to any of our guests if I sat there and played them now where people are attacking him,” Stern said.
The radio host added: “I knew I had a guy who loved to talk about sex. I had a guy who loved to evaluate women on a scale of 1 to 10. These are avenues I went down because I knew it would entertain the audience."
Stern has thrown his support behind Hillary Clinton, but says he still considers Trump a friend. He did however, blast Trump’s explanation of the comments he made to Bush as “locker room talk.”
Stern said he has never been in a locker room where "someone has said 'grab them by the p****.'"
