In Bizarre Interview, Newt Gingrich Tells Megyn Kelly: 'You Are Fascinated by Sex'
The former speaker of the house appeared on "The Kelly File" Tuesday night.
An interview between Newt Gingrich and Megyn Kelly descended into complete madness Tuesday as the former speaker of the house told her: "You are fascinated by sex and you don't care about public policy."
Gingrich appeared on The Kelly File where he let his feelings known about the Fox News host, leading to a fiery back-and-forth that erupted as he complained about media bias against Donald Trump.
She defended herself, saying: “You know what, Mr. Speaker? I'm not fascinated by sex, but I am fascinated by the protection of women and understanding what we're getting in the Oval Office and I think the American voters would like to know."
Kelly had asked a question whether Trump was a “sexual predator,” which led Gingrich to respond.
“I am sick and tired of people like you using language that's inflammatory that's not true,” he said, raising his voice and waving his finger at the host.
But as Kelly defended herself, it seemed to anger the 73-year-old further.
“You want a comment on whether the Clinton ticket has a relationship to a sexual predator?" Gingrich said. "I want to hear you use the words 'Bill Clinton, sexual predator.' I dare you. Say 'Bill Clinton, sexual predator.'"
Kelly then fired back, ending his near two-minute tirade, saying: "We're going to have to leave it at that, and you can take your anger issues and spend some time working on them, Mr. Speaker."
Trump's social media director Dan Scavino tweeted: "Megyn Kelly made a total fool out of herself, attacking Donald Trump. Watch what happens to her after this election is over."
