Two Bodies Found on Suspected Serial Killer's Property Identified as Missing Couple

No one has been charged in the murders yet.
The two unidentified bodies that police discovered on the South Carolina property where a woman was found chained inside a storage container have been identified as a married couple who went missing last year.
Meagan Coxie, 25, and her husband, Johnny Coxie, 29, disappeared last December after they had both been released from jail, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.

The coroner’s office said that Meagan had a gunshot wound to head while Johnny was shot in the torso.
The pair, who had one child, reportedly had a history of panhandling and were already believed to be dead, according to reports.
Their bodies were found in shallow graves after sex offender Todd Kohlhepp, 45, reportedly led investigators to them. Kohlhepp has been charged with the kidnapping of 30-year-old Kala Brown, who was found chained in a storage container on his property last week.
Police also found 32-year-old Charlie Carver’s body, Brown’s boyfriend, on the 100-acre property, but Kohlhepp has not been charged with his murder.
Brown allegedly told investigators that she saw Kohlhepp shoot her boyfriend, who died after multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso, according to reports.
Kohlhepp has also been charged with four counts of murder after confessing to a 2003 quadruple murder since his arrest, authorities said.

Scott Ponder, 30, Beverly Guy, 52, Brian Lucas, 29, and Chris Sherbert, 26, were found fatally shot on November 6, 2003.
Police said Kohlhepp knew details that only the killer could know.
Kohlhepp has not been charged in connection with the Coxies' deaths.
