Man Busted With $330,000 of Weed Wrapped Like Christmas Gifts During Traffic Stop
Drug-sniffing dogs alerted police to the "gifts."
Christmas came a little early this year.
Ohio police caught a California man with $330,000 worth of weed wrapped like Christmas presents, according to reports.
Police pulled over Daniel Yates, 31, on Wednesday for following another car too closely.
That’s when officers noticed the trunk and back seat of his rented Ford Expedition was packed with boxes, and a drug-sniffing police dog alerted troopers to the contents, reports said.
Officers unwrapped the “presents” and found 71 pounds of marijuana, 360 THC pills, and a pound of hash wax oil.
Yates was charged with drug possession and trafficking.
