Is This the Prankster Who Changed Iconic Hollywood Sign to 'Hollyweed'?
Zach Fernandez, who goes by the name "Jesus Hands" on social media, may be the man behind the prank.
The person who changed the iconic Hollywood sign in California to read "Hollyweed" in honor of California’s new law legalizing marijuana may have been identified.
Zach Fernandez, who goes by the name "Jesus Hands" on social media, is believed to be the man behind the prank.
On Monday, Fernandez posted on Instagram writing, “In all it’s glory,” with a photo of the sign.
In the final letter “e” of the Hollyweed sign, a black tarp reads “Jesus Hands” with a heart.
On Tuesday, the Hollywood sign was back to its original luster, but police have warned that the person who altered it could be in big trouble, facing six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for trespassing.
After the sign was revealed on New Year's Day, celebrities took to social media to point out the new alterations and had fun mocking it.
