Not long after her boss' Twitter rant against Streep, senior advisor Kellyanne Conway continued bashing The Iron Lady star on Fox and Friends Monday saying, "she sounds like 2014. The election is over. She lost.”

Ivanka Trump stayed mum when asked about the controversy as she left her Manhattan home Monday morning.

"There was one performance this year that stunned me - it sank its hooks in my heart," Streep said during her impassioned speech. "Not because it was good; there was nothing good about it. But it was effective and it did its job. It made its intended audience laugh, and show their teeth.

In November 2015, Trump appeared to mock New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, who suffers from a muscular disorder.

Steep said: “It kind of broke my heart when I saw it, and I can't get it out of my head, because it wasn't in a movie. It was real life.”

It didn't take long for Trump to hit back at 3:27 a.m. Monday, he took to Twitter from his penthouse here at Trump Tower and called her “overrated” and claimed he never mocked the reporter.

Streep is a proud Hillary Clinton supporter and appeared at the Democratic National Convention in July. Her emotional golden globes speech had the star-studded audience — many of whom Clinton supporters — hanging on every word.

"When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose," Streep said.
