The Risks Beyonce Faces While Carrying Twins, and the Precautions She Should Take

The pop superstar announced Wednesday that she will be a mom to twins.

As Beyonce’s double pregnancy announcement continues to dominate headlines, one doctor is expressing the concerns and issues she could face while carrying twins.

The 35-year-old soon-to-be mom of three may have to take precautions during her pregnancy.

California-based OBGYN Dr. Sherry Ross told Inside Edition that woman facing “a twin pregnancy are more at risk for high blood pressure, diabetes, pre-term labor, rupturing their membrane, so, we advise them from limited their activates from the very beginning."

Beyonce and husband, Jay Z, welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy, into the world five years ago.

Now as the singer prepares to be a mom again, her fans around the world are all excited for the children’s arrival.

Lady Gaga announced Thursday at a Super Bowl press conference she sent Beyonce flowers after she heard her friend and “Telephone” co-collaborator was having twins.

Others took to social media to express their well wishes.
