Newlyweds Shocked by Trump's Guest Appearance and Impromptu Speech During Mar-a-Lago Wedding

"President Trump is an old family friend of the Lindners and the Falks and he politely stopped by to give a quick two minute toast," a party guest said.

Here comes the bride... and the president?

It seemed Donald Trump couldn't help but extend his well wishes to the bride and groom during a wedding in Mar-a-Lago Saturday night.

Trump was actually invited to the wedding of Vanessa Falk, a Nashville socialite, and Carl Lindner IV, the son of co-CEO of the American Financial Group Carl Lindner III.

The bride and groom, whose father reportedly donated to multiple pro-Trump super-PACs, have been long-time members of Trump’s private club in Palm Beach, Florida.

“President Trump is an old family friend of the Lindners and the Falks and he politely stopped by to give a quick two-minute toast,” wedding guest Kerry Whitaker Townsend told "Just like any old friend would do! We all enjoyed it! So exciting!"

Another party guest told that the president attended the wedding for only a couple of minutes, "but I'm sure the entire party would have loved him to stay the entire time."

He continued to say Trump was "warm" and "gregarious," and made a memorable impression on the couples’ big day.

Trump was joined by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the Mar-a-Lago club over the weekend for an afternoon of golfing.

"I saw them out on the lawn today, and I said to the prime minister of Japan, I said, 'Come on, Shinzo, let's go over and say hello,’” Trump said in a video posted to Twitter. "It’s an honor to be with you, you really are a special and beautiful couple, and I hope everyone can get back to dancing."

The appearance at the wedding follows a brief press conference jointly held by Abe and Trump in response to North Korea’s nuclear missile testing in the Sea of Japan.

The unexpected nuclear launch toward Japan interrupted dinner between the two leaders. Abe and Trump were later photographed at the dinner table in full view of guests and other diners at the Mar-a-Lago resort discussing strategy in response to the incident.

"It was fascinating to watch the flurry of activity at dinner when the news came that North Korea had launched a missile in the direction of Japan,” a witness posted on Facebook, along with photos of the scene. “The two world leaders then conferred and then went into another room for hastily arranged press conference. Wow…..the center of action!!!"
