The Kennedys Miniseries Finally Premieres
After The History Channel pulled the plug on airing The Kennedys miniseries, the star-studded vehicle finally sees the light of day on ReelzChannel. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Tom Cruise whispered sweet nothings in Katie Holmes's ear at the premiere of her new miniseries, The Kennedys. Cruise grinned as Holmes posed for photos in a casual but chic gray dress by Ralph Lauren.
Holmes spoke out about the controversy surrounding the miniseries, in which she and Greg Kinnear co-star as Jackie and JFK.
"I am so thrilled that it did find a home," said Holmes.
The History Channel dropped it after the Kennedy family reportedly complained about the depiction of JFK's wandering eye. The little known ReelzChannel picked it up, and it will start airing on cable April 3rd.
The first reviews are decidedly mixed. One critic writes on showbiz411.com: "Truly awful. Watching this thing is torture."
But the New York Post's Linda Stasi gushes, "The Kennedys is the best miniseries you almost weren't allowed to see."
