Rosie O'Donnell Defends Chris Brown, Blames Robin Roberts

Rosie O'Donnell is taking a surprising stand, blasting Good Morning America's Robin Roberts and defending Chris Brown for losing it after Roberts interviewed him. INSIDE EDITION has more.
Rosie O'Donnell is blasting Good Morning America host Robin Roberts and actually defending singer Chris Brown over his now-infamous window-smashing tantrum at GMA studios.
"I actually felt bad for Chris Brown during that interview and I felt mildly angry at Robin Roberts. I feel like writing her and going: 'Can you take a look at this again and see if maybe you find – in any way – your responsibility in this?' "
O'Donnell made the comment on her Sirius radio show. She says she doesn't blame Brown for going ballistic after Roberts asked him about former girlfriend Rihanna.
She said, "I can name 25 stars who trash dressing rooms, who trash hotel rooms. I just don't know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anyone else."
O'Donnell, who had an infamous on-air blowup with Elisabeth Hasselbeck on The View in 2007, says she sympathizes with Brown.
"Part of me wanted to take a chair and throw it through a window at The View after all that happened, but, you know, there were no windows down there in that rat-infested cellar," she added.
