He was later released on bail.
One Virginia man may have asked cops “why so serious?” after he was arrested while dressed as “The Joker.”
Jeremy Putman, 31, was arrested after he was spotted walking down the street with a paint-covered face, a cape, and a sword in Winchester.
Putman was charged with wearing a mask in public.
Officers said they want to remind the public of the seriousness of the crime.
