Oprah's Farewell Spectacular

Some of Hollywood's biggest stars flocked to Chicago to give Oprah's talk show a spectacular sendoff. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
It was a night to remember for Oprah!
13,000 screaming fans gathered to watch a galaxy of stars pay tribute to the Queen of Talk as she wrapped up her long-running show.
With Tom Hanks serving as the emcee, a who's who of Hollywood's elite filed on stage.
And that was just the beginning...
Tom Cruise arrived, and then Madonna, and Michael Jordan! Madonna greeted her friend with a big hug.
Beyoncé performed and then came on stage with actress Dakota Fanning!
Halle Berry, Katie Holmes, and Queen Latifah appeared on stage together to honor Oprah.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith brought Oprah to tears with their moving tribute.
"I know you don't have children of your own but you have mothered millions," Pinkett Smith told her.
And for the grand finale…Simon Cowell, Usher, Will Smith, Michael Jordan, Tom Cruise, and Rosie O'Donnell
Dr. Phil was there too.
"It was the most amazing night you can even begin to imagine," he said. "The A-list of A-listers, I mean everybody in the world was there, and not one ego not one agenda, it was all about Oprah."
The farewell spectacular was the hottest ticket in town. A mother and daughter even rented a limo so they could arrive in style.
And on the eve of her farewell to television, when thousands of her fans lined the city blocks to get in to see her, Oprah reportedly had dinner with Maria Shriver and her daughters at a Chicago restaurant.
Fittingly, the woman everyone wants to see, embattled Maria Shriver, was a big part of the festivities. She was alongside Oprah's best friend Gayle King.
All in all, it was a spectacular send-off fit for a TV legend.
"You are surrounded by nothing but love," Hanks told her.
